What it is

Claude Code is a developer tool. It reads your codebase, writes and edits files, runs shell commands and works through multi-step tasks as an agent. Relevant features for marketing builds include Routines for scheduled recurring tasks in the cloud. There is Slack integration: mention Claude in a channel and get a pull request back. It supports GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, MCP integration and parallel subagents. Claude Code is included in Claude Pro and Max plans, and available at API rates on the Claude Console.

Claude Code is a developer tool. Most useful tasks in a marketing context require comfort with the terminal and some code.
Included in Claude Pro and Max plans. Heavier use is billed at API rates on the Claude Console.
Routines for scheduled cloud tasks and Slack integration are available features, but check the current plan documentation before scoping a build around them.
Parallel subagents are available, but complex multiagent builds need careful design and testing.
