A solo creator can run a full content engine (LinkedIn posts, a newsletter, and repurposed content for other platforms) using 9 Claude Skills organized into three phases: Plan, Create, and Ship & Learn. The skills handle research, drafting, review, repurposing, and performance analysis. The person still owns strategy, personal stories, final edits, and replying to comments.
This guide explains what each skill does, which phase it belongs to, and how the three phases connect into one weekly loop.
What is the Plan, Create, Ship & Learn framework?
Plan, Create, Ship & Learn is a three-phase weekly content workflow. Each phase answers a different question:
- Plan answers: what should I make this week, and why?
- Create answers: how do I turn that plan into a finished, accurate, on-brand draft?
- Ship & Learn answers: how do I publish consistently and use real results to improve next week's plan?
The loop repeats every week. Nine Claude Skills sit inside the loop; two steps in the loop are manual or native-Claude steps rather than separate skills.
What does each phase of the loop do?
Plan (Monday morning, about 2 hours)
Plan covers three steps: checking the content calendar, researching competitors and trends, and generating content angles to choose from.
Step | Tool | What it does |
|---|---|---|
Content Calendar | Skill: | Builds a strategic content calendar from content history, engagement patterns, and benchmarks |
Research & Gather | Skill: | Pulls competitor ad messaging and creative patterns from ad libraries |
Batch Ideation | Native Claude (no separate skill) | Generates content angles from the calendar and research; the creator picks which ones to write |
Create (Monday afternoon, about 3 hours)
Create covers turning picked angles into finished, fact-checked, on-brand drafts, then repurposing one piece into other formats.
Step | Tool | What it does |
|---|---|---|
Draft Creation | Skill: | Drafts posts using a 10-step structure (hook, pain/empathy, feature-benefit pairs, CTA, hashtags) |
Refinement | Skill: | Fact-checks, rates, rewrites, and suggests a cover image for each draft |
Consistency check (runs across both steps above) | Skill: | Keeps tone and terminology consistent across every draft and rewrite |
Repurposing | Skill: | Converts one finished piece into a Twitter/X thread, newsletter section, short-form script, and more |
Ship & Learn (Tuesday through Sunday)
Ship & Learn covers daily publishing, weekly performance review, and the newsletter edition.
Step | Tool | What it does |
|---|---|---|
Daily Posting | Manual (scheduler, no separate skill) | Scheduled posting at a consistent time, plus 30 minutes of comment replies after each post |
Performance Analysis | Skills: | Identifies what drove engagement, and flags unusual patterns in broader metrics like traffic or conversions |
Newsletter Deep-Dive | Skill: | Combines the week's best content into a researched, publication-ready newsletter draft |
How many Claude Skills does this system use, and why does the diagram show 9 boxes but not 9 separate skills per box?
The system uses 9 distinct Claude Skills total. They aren't distributed one-per-box in the visual loop:
- 2 boxes (Batch Ideation, Daily Posting) are workflow steps, not skill installs
- 1 box (Performance Analysis) runs 2 skills together
- 1 skill (
brand-voice-guidelines) runs across two other steps (Draft Creation, Refinement) instead of having its own box
This is intentional. Some parts of a content workflow are genuinely manual (replying to comments) or native to how Claude reasons (generating angles from context), and forcing every workflow step into a separate skill would add complexity without adding value.
What are the 9 Claude Skills used in this system?
personal-content-calendar-planner(Plan) - builds the weekly content calendarcompetitive-ads-extractor(Plan) - pulls competitor ad messaging and creative patternslinkedin-automation-posts(Create) - drafts posts using a proven 10-step structurelinkedin-post-reviewer(Create) - fact-checks, rates, and rewrites draftsbrand-voice-guidelines(Create, cross-cutting) - keeps tone and terminology consistentcontent-repurposing-engine(Create) - converts one piece into a full distribution stackcontent-engagement-analyzer(Ship & Learn) - finds what drove engagementdata-anomaly-detective(Ship & Learn) - flags unusual patterns in broader metricsweekly-newsletter-generator(Ship & Learn) - builds the weekly newsletter edition
What tools does this system require outside of Claude?
The 9 skills run inside an existing content stack, they don't replace it. You'll still need:
- A place to hold the calendar (Notion, a spreadsheet, or similar)
- A scheduler for posting (Buffer, or a platform's native scheduler)
- A newsletter platform (Beehiiv, or another provider)
- Analytics access (a LinkedIn analytics export, GA4, or similar)
- Access to the ad libraries used for research (Facebook Ad Library, LinkedIn Ad Library)
How long does this system take to run each week?
About 12 hours per week, broken down as:
- Plan: 2 hours (Monday morning)
- Create: 3 hours (Monday afternoon)
- Ship & Learn (daily posting and replies): spread across Tuesday through Thursday
- Performance review: 2 hours (Friday)
- Newsletter: 3 hours (once a week, any day)
How do you install a Claude Skill?
Each .skill file installs the same way any Claude skill does in an existing account. The exact menu path depends on whether the system is running in Claude.ai or Cowork, and that path has changed before as Anthropic updates the product. Check the current Settings or Capabilities menu for the add-a-skill option rather than relying on a fixed click path, since product UI is subject to change.
Since beehive doesn’t let me upload .zip files anymore. Please access the full skill suite below.
